Major League Baseball's 2025 Draft has officially wrapped. The draft kicked off Sunday night as the Washington Nationals took high school shortstop Eli Willits with the first of 615 picks that were made by Monday evening.

The Los Angeles Angels shocked observers by taking UC Santa Barbara pitcher Tyler Bremner at No. 2 overall. The Seattle Mariners took LSU left-hander Kade Anderson, who helped his team win the 2025 College World Series, at No. 3 while the Colorado Rockies selected Ethan Holliday, son of former star outfielder Matt Holliday, at No. 4.

The Washington Nationals selected high school shortstop Eli Willits with the No. 1 overall pick in Sunday’s MLB Draft. Willits, who doesn’t turn 18 until December, is the youngest player selected first since the Seattle Mariners took Ken Griffey Jr.
