Alphabet’s Google on Thursday failed to persuade a U.S. appeals panel to overturn a jury verdict and federal court order requiring the technology company to revamp its app store Play. The San Francisco-based 9th U.

Google has appealed against an order mandating major changes to its Play Store. The move comes after the tech giant lost a key ruling in a lawsuit filed by Epic Games, the maker of popular video game Fortnite . The appeal was filed with the San Francisco-based 9th US Circuit Court of Appeals on Friday.

The Epic Games Store on Android maintains your persistent status in games across platforms, and earlier this year, the company brought its weekly free games program to the mobile stores, too. It also has other Epic games, like Fall Guys and Rocket League Sideswipe.
