Authorities have released the name of a woman who was killed in a Tuesday crash that also injured four other people.

A vehicle driver died in a crash with a semi at a Jefferson County intersection on Wednesday afternoon, authorities reported. The crash happened about 4:10 p.m. when a vehicle heading north on Highway A stopped at the intersection with Highway 18,

A three-vehicle crash in eastern Jefferson County left one woman dead and four other people hospitalized, including two children. Center Point Fire and Rescue and Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies were dispatched at 6:45 p.m. Tuesday to a report of multiple vehicles involved in a wreck.
