At one point, Hayes remembers that Garner was cast to play Madonna in a long-planned biopic. The movie was put on hold when Madonna decided to instead concentrate on her Celebration tour. Since then, the movie has reportedly struggled with funding and is now looking more likely to be a mini-series for a streamer.
