Maryvale co-head coaches Marcus and Mark Carter have received support from coaches all over the Valley following school tragedy.

Dodd, who was 22 weeks pregnant, was found shot and killed at Marivue Park in west Phoenix on July 5 th, shortly after going missing from a Surprise group home. “Why does this need to keep occurring, death after death after death?” Robinson said.

Two students were involved in a stabbing at Maryvale High School, resulting in one death and another in custody.

A 16-year-old Maryvale High School student accused of fatally stabbing another student has been charged with murder, according to court documents.

Maryvale High School in west Phoenix is currently under lockdown after an incident in a classroom that injured a student.
