Sean Diddy Combs' lawyers on Tuesday urged the judge who oversaw his sex crimes trial to release him from jail on a $50-million bond ahead of his October 3 sentencing, after the hip-hop mogul was found not guilty of the most serious charges he faced.

Earlier this month, the Revolt co-founder was found guilty of two counts of prostitution — each carrying a maximum of 10 years in prison.

Deadline reported that "several associates of [Sean "Diddy" Combs] have been pitched to the White House" and that President Donald Trump is "seriously considering" a pardon for the rapper. Combs faces up to three years in prison following his sex trafficking conviction.
