CLEVELAND, Ohio — Shedeur Sanders was trying to get his mind right for the two-minute drill at the end of the Browns’ 19-17 victory over the Rams when Kevin Stefanski pulled him in favor of Tyler Huntley.
Browns General Manager Andrew Berry said Saturday the team has no problem keeping four quarterbacks on its 53-player roster.
Sanders is currently expected to be at the bottom of the Browns' quarterback depth chart. Joe Flacco will be the starter, with Kenny Pickett as the expected primary backup. Dillon Gabriel, a fellow rookie, is expected to be placed ahead of Sanders as well.
