A lawsuit was filed against President Donald Trump's administration claiming masked agents have been targeting "individuals with brown skin" in Southern California, arresting them without probable cause and keeping them in "dungeon-like" conditions in efforts to deport them.

The mayor spoke a day after Trump’s Department of Justice sued the city, saying its sanctuary law hinders the federal government’s fight against illegal immigration.

The Trump Administration is suing Los Angeles over sanctuary city policies that limit the city’s cooperation with federal immigration enforcement, claiming that they led to “lawlessness” when thousands of people took to the streets earlier this month to protest the President’s mass-deportation operation.
