The two stars are joining forces in Apple TV+'s new limited series, Lucky, which Taylor-Joy will not only star in but also executive produce alongside creator Jonathan Tropper and Reese Witherspoon 's Hello Sunshine.

Anya Taylor-Joy is back with another Apple TV Plus project, fresh off the success of the streamer’s recent hit “The Gorge.” This time, she’s stepping into the world of crime drama with “Lucky,” an upcoming limited series that Apple just dropped a first look at (and it’s already on my must-watch list).

Taylor-Joy’s latest movie teams her with another prominent filmmaker, Scott Derrickson, as she stars alongside Miles Teller in Derrickson’s Apple TV Plus original sci-fi movie “The Gorge," which TG's Alix Blackburn already considers one of the best movies of 2025 so far.

It’s not just her professional life that constantly makes waves. The 28-year-old powerhouse secretly tied the knot with her rockstar boyfriend of over two years, Malcolm McRae, in "an intimate courthouse wedding," in New Orleans, as reported by Page Six in July 2022.

Apple TV+ 's limited series Lucky, starring and executive produced by Anya Taylor-Joy, has officially started filming. The first leg of the shoot took place in Las Vegas before moving to its main shooting location, Los Angeles. The star-studded cast also features Annette Bening, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Timothy Olyphant, and Drew Starkey.
