In a rare maneuver, a drowning man was rescued after officers landed a helicopter near a pool in Baltimore, authorities said. On Saturday, July 26, a 25-year-old man nearly drowned while swimming at a pool in the 800 block of East 43rd Street, the Baltimore Police Department said in a statement shared on Facebook.

Officer Smith immediately began CPR on a 25-year-old who was found in the pool after hours. The man was taken to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
