West Ham manager Graham Potter has admitted he doesn’t know if Ireland striker Evan Ferguson is fit to start a run of match after he sealed a loan move from Brighton.

West Ham had been in the hunt for the striker during the winter window after the long-term injuries sustained by Michail Antonio, Niclas Fullkrug and Jarrod Bowen. The England forward did return following his foot injury in Monday night’s 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge, though, and had put the Hammers into the lead.
