WhatsApp unveils a new feature allowing users to link their accounts with Meta’s Accounts Centre. This enables seamless sharing of WhatsApp Status to Facebook and Instagram, while maintaining privacy.

Meta is integrating WhatsApp into its Accounts Center, as WABetaInfo spotted. The change, which is rolling out globally “over the next few months,” lets WhatsApp users share status updates across Instagram and Facebook, as well as enable single sign-on.

Accounts Center is a single space allowing users to manage their Facebook, Instagram and (even) Meta Quest log-ins. Today, Meta has announced that WhatsApp is joining the list of supported apps, enabling you to reshare statuses and posts across all of your platforms.

Meta will soon allow WhatsApp users to share their ephemeral status updates as “Stories” on their Instagram and Facebook accounts.
