Dimensionally, the 2025 Audi A5 is larger than the car it replaces, and the automaker promises it will have a spacious interior. That’s good because the previous-generation A5 Sportback felt snug, especially in the cramped back seat.

The new A5 and sportier S5 models promise better driving dynamics, and more luxury than the models they're replacing.

In an effort to simplify things, Audi executives have decided that all future models with even numbers will be electric while the odd numbers will be petrol, diesel or hybrid.

Audi A5 is almost here, and when it arrives, the five-door "sedan" that replaces both the previous-generation A4 and A5 Sportback will split the price difference between both. Confirmed today via the automaker's website,

Audi is rejiggering its lineup. It launched a new A5 last year, replacing the outgoing A4 and A5. And now have its starting price. The 2025 A5 will cost $48,995, including a $1,295 destination charge.

Audi has supplanted the A4 lineup with a new A5 model that's bigger and costs at least $3600 more than before.
