Tennis legend Andre Agassi partnered with Anna Leigh Waters.in his pro pickleball debut at the 2025 U.S. Open in Naples, Florida on April 30.

As Amy Woodyatt of CNN reported Thursday, Agassi lost in his second match at the US Open Pickleball Championships. The tournament was his professional debut in the sport, and he partnered with 18-year-old Anna Leigh Waters in the tournament.

Tennis legend Andre Agassi made his professional pickleball debut at the U.S. Open Pickleball Championships, alongside one of the best players to pick up a paddle. Anna Leigh Waters, who has won 148 Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) titles, or golds, is known across her sport as the greatest women’s player of all time — at 18 years old.
