Apple is set to launch the ultra-thin iPhone 17 Air next month. Thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge, it features a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display, A19 chip, 48MP camera, and starts at ₹90,000 in India. Here's what to expect.
Phone 17 series mass production has reportedly begun. Foxconn is luring more workers with bonuses to meet the demand.
After years of relying on China for iPhone production, Apple is boosting its presence in India. The tech giant hit a milestone ahead of the iPhone 17 launch.
According to media reports, the iPhone 18 series could feature four models, including the iPhone 18 Air, iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a foldable iPhone.
Additionally, Apple is set to open its largest office in India at Embassy Zenith, Sankey Road, Vasanth Nagar, with seating capacity for over 1,200 employees. The 10-year lease, valued at around ₹1,010 crore, ranks among Bengaluru’s biggest single-tenant commercial lease agreements in recent years, according to Business Standard.
The iPhone 17 is reportedly rumored to be announced in September, meaning Californians may be just weeks away from their next upgrade. Last year, Apple introduced its iPhone 16 range on Sept. 9, with the new phones ready for pre-order later that week.
Apple saw its iPhone exports from India rise almost 63 per cent to $7.5 billion in the April-July period this year, from $4.6 billion in the same period last fiscal (FY25), according to latest industry data.
