SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, PENNSYLVANIA— The Little League World Series has wrapped up its second round of play, and the field is starting to narrow as several teams suffered their second loss of the tournament.
The team from Chester County, Pa., lost Saturday in an elimination game to Clarendon Hills Little League of Illinois, 3-2. After a scoreless first two innings, Clarendon Hills got three runners across the plate in the third. The deficit would prove too much for Glenmoore Eagle to overcome, although they did not allow more runs.
