The ZIP code that led Leon County in the number of COVID-19 cases throughout the pandemic now has the lowest vaccination rate in the county, despite local efforts to bring vaccines to the area.

Zip code 30009 has 398 confirmed COVID-19 cases, the fourth-highest amount in the area. The area includes Alpharetta proper, and has a population of roughly 16,000.
