Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said on Sunday that a ceasefire with Russia in its more than three-year-old war was possible at any moment and called on Kyiv's allies to apply greater pressure on Moscow to put the measure in place.

Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a three-day ceasefire in the war with Ukraine next month to celebrate the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany during World War II.

The Kremlin said on Tuesday that Ukraine had not responded to many offers by Russia President Vladimir Putin to start direct peace negotiations.
