A Ukrainian strike on Russia’s Druzhba pipeline has halted oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia for at least five days, raising energy security concerns as both nations warn of economic risks from disrupted Russian imports.

Russian crude oil flows to Hungary and Slovakia via the Druzhba pipeline were halted on Monday, officials in Hungary and Slovakia said, with Budapest blaming a Ukrainian attack on a part of the network.

President Volodymyr Zelensky and Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto exchanged sharp words following a disruption of the Druzhba pipeline, which supplies Hungary with Russian oil.
