A new bridge over the Fox River is slated for completion by 2030. Designers are still determining the future bridge's construction style, according to the county highway commissioner.

In its last regularly scheduled meeting, the Upper Guadalupe River Authority approved a grant request by the Guadalupe River Center made through the Water Resources Preservation Grant program.
