ABC News has confirmed to ABC-7 the names of the two kids killed by the floods in Ruidoso, including their parents who are injured. Their aunt, Tiffanie Wyatt, told ABC News. According to the aunt, the Fort Bliss soldier is Sebastian Trotter.
The mother of two children killed in Tuesday's catastrophic floods in Ruidoso issued a public statement, writing in part, "The injuries we have sustained truly show the story of a parent's will to fight and risk their own lives to give their babies a chance.
