An Uber driver experienced a carjacking in West Covina after a man requesting a ride seized control of his vehicle and crashed it.

A West Covina man remains behind bars Thursday after police say he carjacked, kidnapped and assaulted a woman who offered to give him a ride. The woman, who police say is an Uber driver but wasn’t on the clock,
