The Pirates were trounced for a third-straight game by the White Sox, falling 7-2 in the series finale at PNC Park on Sunday afternoon.

Pirates second baseman Nick Gonzales hit a ball in between infield and outfield and White Sox left fielder Michael A. Taylor just missed it on the basket catch. Taylor then threw it wayward, as Gonzales made it to third base on the error.

The White Sox (32-65) are in Pittsburgh to begin life after the All-Star Break with a series against the Pirates (39-58) beginning Friday, July 18. Jonathan Cannon is slated to take the mound for Chicago against Bailey Falter for Pittsburgh.

The Sox' productive sixth clinched a 10-4 victory against the Pirates for a series win — their first series win after the All-Star break last season came in September. The Sox (34-65) recorded 13 hits on Saturday and have scored 20 runs over a two-game span.
