Little else about Copilot Chat has changed since the beta. The chatbot’s still powered by GPT-4, OpenAI’s flagship generative AI model, fine-tuned specifically for dev scenarios.

But just like ChatGPT Plus, you have to pay a $20/month fee for access to Copilot Pro. Copilot Pro gives you access to GPT-4 and GPT-4 Turbo. It also lets you use the AI chatbot in Microsoft 365 apps.

Microsoft will be bringing GPT-4 Turbo to Copilot, formerly known as Bing Chat. It is unclear when Microsoft will update its AI models from GPT-4 to GPT-4 Turbo, but we know it is in the works.

According to GitHub, Copilot Chat is based on the more capable GPT-4 model that debuted this past March.
