"How much snow is actually on the ground by the time the event ends is still kind of a big question mark, since there could be some melting as we change over from snow to rain on Saturday night to Sunday morning," said Robert Megnia, a NWS meteorologist.
The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 2:55 a.m. on Saturday valid from 1 p.m. until Sunday 7 p.m.
