Speaking on the Up & Adams Show, Robert Kraft pointed to one game that convinced him that Mike Vrabel could be the Patriots head coach.

Mike Vrabel was hired as the Patriots coach in January, but Robert Kraft knew in 2020 that he would be a good candidate to coach the team.

Vrabel clearly took notes, because he’d end up using the same trick to help defeat Belichick in the playoffs. With the Titans holding on to a 14-13 lead in the fourth quarter, the Titans went full copycat, committing a delay of game followed by a false start while lined up to punt from the Patriots’ 36-yard line.
