Aldi coming, but Southeastern Grocers will continue to operate a local Winn-Dixie. The Press Journal, which dates back to 1919, has published a book about Indian River County's history.

Aldi announced in August 2023 that it would be acquiring Southeastern Grocers, and the deal was finalized in March 2024.
