Elon Musk’s AI chatbot apologized for the “buggy Hitler fanfic” while lying about sexually harassing Linda Yaccarino
AI chatbot Grok, which is produced by Elon Musk’s artificial intelligence company xAI, issued an apology Saturday after it made numerous antisemitic posts on X this week following an update. The posts ranged from alleging “patterns” in the roles of Jewish people in Hollywood to praising Hitler.
Linda Yaccarino stepped down as X's CEO a day after the platform's AI chatbot, Grok, went haywire and began praising Adolf Hitler's actions in responses to users.
The Grok team chalked up the slew of inflammatory statements to a malfunctioning code update, not the tool's underlying AI model, and said the issue has now been resolved.
The latest version of Elon Musk's Ai chatbot Grok echoes the views of its billionaire creator and will sometimes search for Musk's stance on an issue before offering an opinion.

Musk’s AI startup xAI launched the Grok 4 model on Wednesday, but had not previously offered a deployment timeline.
Musk did not apologize nor did he accept responsibility for Grok's antisemitic, sexually offensive, and conspiratorial remarks.
Elon Musk followed Grok’s horrifying racist and antisemitic turn with an announcement that the AI will soon be in every Tesla. By next week at the latest, the same program that called itself “MechaHitler” will be available to help Tesla owners operate their increasingly unpopular vehicles.
