Utah won't have the help of Logan Cooley, its blossoming young star, in its upcoming matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets. In fact, Cooley won't be available for any of Utah's upcoming six games due to a lower-body injury he sustained in the 3-2 OT loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The team announced Friday that Logan Cooley will be out indefinitely with a lower-body injury and that he will be re-evaluated following the 4 Nations Face-Off break.

Cooley has emerged as one of Utah's most consistent offensive threats in his second year in the NHL. He is second on the team in points with 43 (15 goals, 28 assists) and has been centering Utah's top line with Clayton Keller and Nick Schmaltz over the past few weeks.

Philadelphia acquired Andrei Kuzmenko, Jakob Pelletier, and two draft picks from the Calgary Flames in exchange for Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee on Jan. 30, but have not been able to field Kuzmenko or Pelletier in the lineup yet as the two are currently waiting for their visas to clear, allowing them to work in the U.S.
