Marc Marquez won the MotoGP Tissot Sprint race Saturday afternoon at Red Bull Ring – Spielberg, in Austria. Riding his Lenovo Team Ducati Desmosedici GP25 on Michelin control tires, the six-time MotoGP World Champion won the 14-lap race by 1.180 seconds.
KTM’s Pedro Acosta says the brand approaches the MotoGP Austrian Grand Prix with “feet on the ground” and believes Marc Marquez is only beatable “if he doesn’t want to push”. The 21-year-old comes to KTM’s home round off the back of a double podium finish last time out at the Czech Grand Prix, marking his first and the marque’s first of the season.
MotoGP: "I am a professional and I will stay in KTM even in 2026, but it is normal that you aim to get on the best bike. I'm different from everyone else. Today you have to be politically correct."

Marc Marquez sliced a half-second deficit to one-tenth of a second on lap nine, then passed his brother for the lead exiting the turn two chicane with five laps to go and bolted, eventually crossing the line to win by 1.180secs.
