Jan 18, 2014 · I'm not sure where you exit the commuter rail but I see plenty of people head straight from the commuter rail to the subway (myself included). If they decide to separate the subway/bus access then I'm done riding the commuter rail; It's already too expensive for the quality of service provided and not really any cheaper than driving for me.

Inbound, I get guaranteed seats with these two stops being at the beginning of the line, versus getting on the middle of the line on the commuter rail.

Jul 9, 2009 · The commuter rail (T) leaves out of Newburyport and that is like 8 bucks a ride. It will take a little longer though as it stops more frequently. That also ends in north station but will hit all major points on the north shore in case you end up working somewhere over the state line but not necessarily in downtown Boston.

Jan 25, 2024 · Both have Amtrak and local commuter rail as well as bus networks. But MNRR is far superior to the MBTA, Amtrak serves more places from New Haven than it does from Providence. Bus service in both places seems reasonable, but I've never ridden the bus in New Haven.-Economy and future outlook - I'd give an edge to New Haven.

Mar 31, 2009 · We have commuter rail service to MD & DC and it's easy to reach I-95 or I-81. Also the Hagerstown, MD airport, which is about 30 minutes from Shepherdstown, just added a low cost non-stop flight to Florida.
